DP+S has provided on-call development review services to the City of Shasta Lake since 2024, including California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) review and documentation. This role has primarily been filled by DP+S staff members Raini Ott and Grant Gruber, with occasional support from other team members. In our time working with the city, including through a prior multi-year General Plan update, we have become very familiar with the community and its character, values, strengths, challenges, and goals for the future.
During the past year, DP+S has assisted the city in reviewing development applications on an as-needed basis. Tasks included researching and reviewing development applications for compliance with the city’s regulations and standards and CEQA requirements, as well as drafting legal notices, staff reports, and determination letters.
